The County Board Chair, with the advice and consent of the County Board makes appointments to the governmental bodies listed below.
The closing date for accepting applications is the Friday before the first
Committee of the Whole meeting of the month the appointment is to take place.
The County Board Chair reserves the right to change the application deadline, if
deemed necessary.

COMPOSITION: 6 Members
Term of Office: 3 Years
QUALIFICATIONS
- Each Resident must be a resident of the County.
- Three members shall be appointed Chair of the County Board with the advice and consent of the County Board.
- One member shall be a County Board representative
(ex-Officio).
- Three members shall be appointed by the Forest Preserve District.
