The County Board Chair, with the advice and consent of the County Board makes appointments to the governmental bodies listed below.
The closing date for accepting applications is the Friday before the first
Committee of the Whole meeting of the month the appointment is to take place.
The County Board Chair reserves the right to change the application deadline, if
deemed necessary.

COMPOSITION: 9 Members
Term of Office: Undefined
QUALIFICATIONS
- Only three members are appointed by Champaign
County. There are not specific
qualifications for such members.
- Other members are appointed by other governmental
bodies: two from Urbana, two from Champaign and one from Rantoul.
- The ninth member is appointed by the other eight
members and, according to the bylaws of the Regional Planning Commission Board,
must be a minority, low-income person.
SPECIAL PROVISIONS
County Board members may be on this Board.
