Reserving
A-V Equipment For Courtroom Use
Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please
e-mail or call the Law Librarian to reserve the equipment as far in advance as
possible and provide the following information:
- Equipment needed (see below)
- Date
- Time
- Courtroom/other location
Whenever possible, please also contact the Law Librarian to indicate when you
are finished using the equipment so it may be used by other attorneys as
needed.
The equipment does not leave the courthouse, but special arrangements can be
made to test it out ahead of time in the Law Library, an empty courtroom, or the
State's Attorney's or Public Defender's Office.
Audio-Visual Equipment
- Visual Presenter (ELMO)
ELMO Presenters allow images of exhibits (printed documents,
photographs, charts/graphs, 3-dimensional objects) to be projected onto a
screen
- LCD Projector (Panasonic PT-L720V)
Projects images from ELMO and VCR/DVD player onto screen or other flat
surface. Instructions for connecting to a computer for slide show
presentations are included in the operating manual available from the Law
Library.
- Combo VCR/DVD Player
The VCR/DVD player is used with the LCD projector, not with the TV.
- Projection Screen
A portable projection screen is provided unless otherwise instructed.
- TV/VCR
A combination TV/VCR is available for courtroom use.
