The closing date for accepting applications is the Friday before the first Committee of the Whole meeting of the month the appointment is to take place. The County Board Chair reserves the right to change the application deadline, if deemed necessary.

COMPOSITION: 7 Members

Term of Office: 2 Years

QUALIFICATIONS

Board members shall be Champaign County residents or individuals who maintain full-time employment in Champaign County who possess the ability to participate effectively in the discharge of the Board of Directors' responsibilities. The Board of Directors shall have at least one (1) member who has expertise in each of the following areas: health care, finance/banking, accounting, social services, personnel, and marketing/sales. At least two Directors shall be members of the Champaign County Board.
