The County Board Chair, with the advice and consent of the County Board makes appointments to certain governmental bodies.

The closing date for accepting applications is the third Friday of the month prior to the Committee of the Whole meeting of the month in which the appointment is to take place. 

For instance:  If the Committee of the Whole meeting is in June, then the deadline for applications would be the third Friday in May.

The County Board Chair reserves the right to change the application deadline, if deemed necessary.

Champaign County Nursing Home Board of Directors

COMPOSITION: 7 Members
Term of Office: 2 Years
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Board members shall be Champaign County residents or individuals who maintain full-time employment in Champaign County who possess the ability to participate effectively in the discharge of the Board of Directors' responsibilities. The Board of Directors shall have at least one (1) member who has expertise in each of the following areas: health care, finance/banking, accounting, social services, personnel, and marketing/sales. At least two Directors shall be members of the Champaign County Board.
  2. Applicants must complete the Questionnaire Regarding Possible Conflicts of Interest
SPECIAL PROVISIONS

Directors are limited to a maximum tenure of three (3) two (2) year terms; Directors may return to the Governing Body after an absence of one (1) year.
