Records Access via the Internet

We are very pleased to now offer you some alternative ways to search the land record documents stored within the computer index at the Champaign County Recorder’s office.

As before, you are more than welcome to come visit us and make use of our free public terminals to search information. If this is not convenient you may go to the website, http://www.landrecords.net, and by entering a credit card number you may generate searches for a small fee. This site allows you to view imaged documents and if desired print them from your computer. This is an excellent option if you only want to search occasionally.

The second internet option is our monthly fee based internet program. If you believe that you will be using the system frequently throughout the month, simply contact us at (217) 384-3774 and we will set you up with a user name and password. You will then be able to download the software and search from any computer, 24-7. This program is based on a sliding scale dependent on the number of minutes you spend online per month and is billed monthly.

Those unable to access the internet, or not desirous of the fee, are invited into the office where we have multiple public stations. Searching is free and copies are $1.50 per page.
