Important Notice: Fee Increase

The Champaign County Board, after completing a cost study analysis, has passed Ordinance 935 which increases the fees of the County Clerk, Sheriff and Recorder.

The RECORDING FEE for all documents will increase of January 1, 2016.

The base recording fee for the first four pages will change from $53.00 to $58.00. A standard 4 page document will now be $58.00, with $1.00 for each additional page after 4.

Nonstandard documents will increase to $88.00 and $2.00 for each additional page.

Four page document: 58.00 + 1.00 for each additional page.

Four page nonstandard: 88.00 + 2.00 for each additional page.
