Visitation

Sheriff Dan Walsh and the staff at the Champaign County Corrections Division understand how important it is for persons confined at the facility to maintain contact with family and friends during their stay. Most Inmates are allowed two twenty minutes visits each week.

Those wishing to visit someone who is confined at the Corrections Division must go to the location where the person is housed.

  • Inmates are eligible for visitation on the days and times listed below based on the availability of visitation booths.
  • Visitation appointments are on a first come first serve basis.
  • You must be 17 years of age or accompanied by legal guardian and only 2 minors may accompany the adult.
  • Only one person may visit an inmate at one time.
  • You must have a recognized government issued photo identification card that shows your date of birth.
  • Visitors must be properly dressed and abide by the posted visiting rules.

    Satellite Jail - 502 S. Lierman Ave.
    Facility: SAT
    Block: AX-1, AX-2, AX-3 AND A-DS
    Tuesday 6 pm to 9 pm
    Saturday 9:30 am to 11:30 am

    Block: B-D1, B-D4, BT-2 AND BW-3
    Thursday 6 pm to 9 pm
    Saturday 12 noon to 2:00 pm

    Block: F1 TO F3 and H1 TO H8
    Wednesday 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm
    Saturday 2 pm to 3:00 pm

    Downtown Jail - 204 E. Main St.
    Facility: CCC

    Wednesday 6 pm to 8 pm
    Saturday 8 am to 9 am
