You are always welcome to pay your bill in person or by mail at the County Treasurer's Office, Brookens Administrative Center, 1776 E. Washington St., Urbana, IL 61802. There are 3 ways to pay with a credit card:

All Credit Card payments require a Convenience Fee

  1. In the County Collector's Office
    Most Major Credit Cards are accepted
    Convenience Fee - $33.00 and under .65 Cents
                              Over $33.00 is a Flat Fee of 2.1%
  2. On the Internet at www.illinoisepay.com
    Most Major Credit Cards are accepted
    Convenience Fee - Sliding Scale based on amount paid (approx. 1.75%)
    Visa Debit Cards are accepted for a Flat Fee of $3.95
  3. Dial Toll-Free 1-877-455-3729
    Most Major Credit Cards are accepted
    Convenience Fee - Sliding Scale based on amount paid (approx. 1.75%)

The Convenience Fee is negotiated between the State Treasurer (which operates the EPAY program) and the credit card companies. No unit of local government in the State of Illinois collects any revenue from the Convenience Fee.
